Venom: The Last Dance

3D: Before the movie, a 3D trailer for the upcoming Captain America movie set the bar very high for 3D visual impact; its incredible depth set the stage for a lot of anticipation for the next few minutes. Fortunately, the beginning of Venom starts with strong 3D. Generally, the 3D of Venom is at a very high level, but not so higher than the previous trailer. There are several scenes in the half part of the movie in which the images shine with strong depth both inside and outside the screen plane, particularly in a sequence with transitions from air to underwater. The 3D is robust throughout the entirety of the film; however, there are few instances where objects are directed towards the camera like in the previous movie (except for a few squishes of water and other fluids 🙂 ). Good scary foreground planes with monsters’ mouths full of terrifying teeth. At the end of the movie, there are fewer foreground planes, and the 3D becomes less noticeable, but still present. The credits have images with slight depth, with brief moments with pop outs and foregrounds. There are scenes in both mid-credits and at the end, both with great 3D. Recommended watching in 3D.

4DX: There are a lot of subtle movement effects when flying, swimming or in a vehicle, combined with strong movements in certain situations. There is a fun scene with a horse, on which the chair movements are very exciting. Beyond that, some unexpected squishes and heat effects. But a part of that, in general, the effects of this movie are subtler than other action movies, without impacts on the back, only aggressive movements. 4DX effects are recommended, but not necessary to enjoy the movie.
