SpatialGlass is on a mission to change the way people create, view, and share 3D media. What began as an iPhone product for watching, capturing and converting 3D & Spatial photos and videos is now evolving into a complete ecosystem. Through its Kickstarter campaign, SpatialGlass is expanding to Android, Mac, Windows, and Vision Pro (and maybe even iPad Pro if goals are met) with a wide set of overhauled features designed to push the boundaries of 3D.

macOS: 3D conversion and streaming
On the Mac, SpatialGlass turns the desktop into a 3D powerhouse. It allows users to stream anything on their screen in ultra-low latency, so content can be instantly viewed in 3D on devices such as the iPhone, Vision Pro, or Galaxy phones paired with AR glasses (or our SpatialGlass). Even ordinary desktop windows are transformed in real time from 2d to 3D, thanks to built-in AI conversion. For gamers, the possibilities are especially exciting: by routing a console through a capture card -or streaming them from the cloud-, Mac users can convert their favorite titles into glasses-free 3D and experience them in an entirely new way. Beyond real-time playback, the Mac software also makes it possible to export videos and images with fully customizable 3D settings, ensuring creators have complete control over how their content looks.

Windows: 3D conversion and streaming
Windows users will see a similar expansion of features, with a particular emphasis on gaming. The software supports streaming Stereoscopic PC games directly in side-by-side 3D or through community-made 3D modifications, delivering smooth, high-resolution output to any SpatialGlass-compatible device. Anything displayed on a Windows screen can also be converted to 3D by streaming it to the SpatialGlass or the Vision Pro, where the conversion takes place directly on the device. This way, you can convert virtually any recent game into 3D — something that isn’t possible with the new Samsung Odyssey 3D. Even with a top-tier Nvidia GTX 5090 graphics card, the system doesn’t have enough resources to handle real-time 3D conversion and rendering simultaneously — but now, with SpatialGlass, you can.

Android: the App and maybe the SpatialGlass
Android devices paired with a Mac, will be able to stream games and videos in glasses-free 3D, with the Mac handling the 2d-to-3D conversion before sending the content to the phone. VR180 photos and videos will be viewable with touch and gyro controls, and an integrated web browser will extend support for 3D and VR180 content hosted online. As with iOS, Android users will be able to share their favorite 3D photos and videos directly through the app. If the Kickstarter gets enough fund, we can even release the SpatialGlass screen protector to view 3D directly on your Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra.
It’s worth noting that while on-device 2d-to-3D conversion for Windows and Android is not part of this Kickstarter launch, the feature is on the roadmap for future updates.
Vision Pro: Revolutionize Vision Pro with the ultimate 3D all-in-one tool
On Vision Pro, SpatialGlass takes things even further by taking advantage of Apple’s advanced on-device processing. Vision Pro users will be able to stream from Mac or Windows in 3D, including games that natively support side-by-side 3D or have been modded for it. But even if the game is not 3D, with a simple pinch gesture, Vision Pro can convert iCloud media, local files, or streamed content into 3D instantly. The same Enhanced Spatial/3D feature from iOS is present here, but with even more intuitive controls that allow users to fine-tune depth and strength with ease. Vision Pro will also allow users to download and save converted videos, as well as transform 360-degree media into fully immersive 3D.
iOS (iPhone & iPad): New features and maybe the SpatialGlass for iPad Pro
The iOS app itself, already at the heart of the SpatialGlass experience, is being improved even further with new layers of functionality. It will support ultra-low latency streaming from both Mac and Windows, with the ability to convert incoming 2d streams into 3D in real time. In addition to playback, iOS users can share their favorite Spatial photos and videos directly from within the app.
A unique Enhanced Spatial/3D feature allows with a single tap to amplify the depth and immersive quality of media, while 360-degree photos and videos can be instantly reshaped into 3D at adjustable levels of intensity. Importantly, users are not limited to streaming: they can also download and save their enhanced or AI-converted media while previewing the results in real time.

Currently, the iOS version of SpatialGlass already offers a strong foundation of features. Users can instantly view and play back spatial photos and videos, along with standard 3D formats like side-by-side half or full width. The app includes its own 3D camera for capturing photos and videos with real-time visualization, and it supports VR180 viewing with natural touch and gyro controls. Perhaps most impressively, it offers one-tap AI conversion that transforms 2d photos and videos stored in the iPhone’s albums into 3D, with very strong depth, all processed directly on the device without needing external servers. An integrated browser rounds out the current experience, making it possible to explore 3D and VR180 content online, or even convert compatible 2D live streams into 3D on the fly.
By contributing to the campaign, you’re not only helping spread the world’s best 2d-to-3D conversion technology, but also making it possible for SpatialGlass to reach more devices — including the Galaxy Ultra, the new iPhone 17 series, and even the iPad Pro if funds are enough! This campaign is also a limited-time opportunity to get SpatialGlass at a reduced price. So if you don’t have it yet, there’s no excuse not to start enjoying 3D on the device you use most — the one that goes everywhere with you.
By expanding from iOS to an entire multi-platform ecosystem, SpatialGlass is evolving from an app into a platform for 3D creativity and entertainment. Whether for immersive gaming, creative media, or simply experiencing everyday photos and videos in a new way, it promises to make spatial content more accessible than ever.
Your support can turn the dream of universal 3D into reality.
